Chanel Drawstring Bag

Just got back from a quick trip to Beverly Hills — man, I love that California sunshine!

Even though I needed to project a serious image, that laid-back California approach to business attire gave me a wide scope to have fun with my look. And since my trip was related to robotics, what better choice than METALLIC!? Naturally, I added a touch of Chanel to take the look to another level.

This Chanel Drawstring Bag in pleated crumpled calfskin pulls the look together and says “Who’s ready to make a deal?” Really pops out there on Rodeo Drive when teamed up with silver metallic, no?

This bag is roomy without being heavy or cumbersome. The black calfskin feels super-soft and luxurious. In short: It’s perfect for the business girl on the go.

Above I’m wearing it across my body, but as shown below you can also scrunch it down and carry it as a handbag, making it flexible and versatile. Such a great traveling companion!

I love the way the gold-tone chain cinches up and accents Chanel’s elegant double-C logo. And this bag goes perfectly with my black Century Woven Booties by Nordstrom, don’t you think? Also, notice how the pleats on the bag and the ones on the skirt work together — talk about great lines!

My jacket? Well you can find this look with the Metallic Blazer by Parosh, of course. Perfect for the secret space alien in each of us.

But wait, there’s more. Isn’t this pleated metallic skirt just the best?

Go out and grab yourself a Metallic Pleated Skirt by Mytheresa — you’ll be glad you did, methinks. Works perfectly with my black Long-Sleeve Turtleneck by Nordstrom, IMHO.

Last but not least, my other killer accessories. Around my waist is the Crystal Concho Rhinestone Belt from M&F Western. Easy, cowboy.

My sunnies: Ray-Ban Flat Lens Sunglasses, RB3647N, available at Macy’s through Sunglass Hut.

Who’s California Dreamin’ now? Well, me for one. Later.

Oh and, keep slaying it, fashion junkies!
